Happy K9 wants everyone to be able to use our website, including people who use a keyboard, a screen reader or other assistive technology. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, and we check the site with automated accessibility testing and by hand with a keyboard.

What we’ve built in

• A “Skip to content” link at the top of every page for keyboard and screen-reader users.
• Keyboard access to the menu, the price lists and the forms. Press Esc to close the menu or a drop-down.
• Visible focus outlines, so you can always see where you are on the page.
• Text descriptions for pictures, and titles on embedded maps.
• Text and button colors that meet the WCAG AA contrast level.
• Moving effects switch off if your device is set to reduce motion.

Online booking and customer accounts run on Gingr, our booking platform. If anything in the booking portal gets in your way, call either shop and we’ll book for you.
