We had to look for someone else to groom our silky terrier. You don't think of Happy K9 has having groomers, but they do. Jo is great, been grooming for a very long time and knows exactly how a silky should look. Very satisfied with the team on Clifford

Exceptional service. I know I got lucky when I took our chihuahua in to get his nails trimmed. I did not have an appointment when we arrived Saturday morning so I expected to leave him to pick up later. Instead the very nice young lady trimmed him while I waited. He has a heart condition so is very sensitive to being stressed. She was very gentle with him. It was a challenging job as I had let him go too long, but he came out better than I expected. My first time to use them and we will be regulars.

The ladies at Happy K9 always do a wonderful job with my Dixie! Her stylist was so sweet and very thorough asking questions to assure she got the cut just right, I wish I had asked for her name so I could request her again and again! I’m thankful for the staff here, always so sweet and helpful to both me and my baby 🐾

Amari was wonderful! I hope I got her name right. I brought my dog, Rico, in for a nail trim, and even though it was so close to closing time, she didn’t hesitate to take care of him. She did a great job. I really appreciated her kindness and willingness to help. She is truly a great asset to your team! Thank you, Amari, for making our visit such a positive experience!

We have 3 doodles. 2 male sheepadoodles and one mini doodle mix and we've always struggled to find a good groomer. We have used mobile groomers in the past and although very convenient, with it comes the price which is expected with the travel and gas. Happy K-9 has been our go to place for all of our 3 babies! They have great service, treat the animals well and actually get the haircut you ask for. The prices are affordable especially having to pay for 3 dogs! We usually have the male groomer and he does an excellent job with ours.

Finn has been getting his haircuts here since he was a baby, and Natalie always does such a great job with him! She’s wonderful, and I’ve always been happy with how he looks when he leaves.
I did have an issue with communication between the front desk and online appointments that resulted in a longer wait time during one visit. However, the staff addressed my concerns and worked with me to resolve the situation, which I really appreciated.
Overall, I’m happy with the service and will continue bringing Finn here. If you’re looking to minimize wait times, I’d recommend choosing the express option when available!

After a very disappointing experience at PetSmart this morning, we called Happy K9 and they were kind enough to take my 8-month-old puppy as a walk-in. I can’t thank them enough!
My puppy was understandably nervous after everything that had happened, but the staff was patient, calm, and so gentle with her. They made her feel comfortable instead of giving up on her, and the difference in how she was handled was amazing.
She did great, and they had no complaints. She came home looking absolutely beautiful and smelling wonderful! It’s clear they truly care about the dogs they groom and understand that puppies sometimes just need a little extra patience.
I highly recommend Happy K9 to anyone looking for a caring, professional groomer. We’ll definitely be back!

Loved how quick it was to check in. They offer a large, clean tub with steps, all types of shampoo, and an extendable shower head with warm water! One can control the pressure. A dryer is also available. Once done, staff will clean up after you. In my opinion, the $34 for my large dog was worth it. His coat was shiny for days, and he is no longer bothering my sensitive nose. I used up at least 15+ minutes of their water.
You can also have staff bathe and groom your dog though girlfriend and I cleaned Ghost ourselves.

  I love this place.
I used to take my old pit bull there, before she passed; they were the only ones could manage her. She was afraid of clippers and the ladies make her feel confident and she let them trim her nails.
My old terrier mix needs patience and the girls on this place are amazing with her.
Sydney cut her nail last time and my girl behaved like. Champ ! That’s a huge compliment if you know how temperamental terriers are.
Also, I lost my id there, they found it and keep it for me.
They took their time to go and look at the parking lot when I called and ask if they have it.
  Best customer service.
The place is not new, they been there for years, but I rather go there to a new facility that will charge you for the fancy looks and not pay attention to my babies

It was my first time coming here, I had mistook it for their sister location just down the street, but I really enjoyed my time there! The young lady at the front was very sweet and helpful (and also hardworking, she was running around the whole place holding down the fort lol). They have a lot of options for shampoos and such for the babies which was nice. My pup got to go home smelling like blueberry and I think watermelon. He may not have cared too much for the experience by the look on his face, but he needed it and I enjoyed this place very much! Will be coming back :-)

After a mediocre experience at another hybrid Professional/DIY grooming business, I took my dog to Happy K9 on Camp Bowie today, 11/15. The experience was everything I wanted, and nothing that I'd suggest changing. Multiple products for shampooing, conditioning, eye, and mouth care to towels, multiple types of brushes and curries, and quieter than usual blowers. There was a themed-out bench for after photos, too. The front desk assistant was friendly and attentive, making sure our first experience at Happy K9 this morning was successful and positive. We will be back!

Staff was friendly. It's so much better than being on the floor bent over the tub at home and cleaning the tub afterward. We will visit again.

Followed Morgan here from a VCA animal clinic where she previously did grooming. The dogs seem to enjoy this facility much more.
Morgan is a great groomer, and the two dogs (8 year old German Shepherd and 14 year old Red Heeler) looked beautiful today after getting rid of all their winter fluff that has been flying all over our house. She said it looked like she had groomed 6 dogs in the back because of all the undercoat she removed from them. Back to booking our monthly grooming sessions with her!

This place is FANTASTIC. They remember us when we come in and they have helped us keep our Luna clean and they help us socialize with humans and dog friends alike. The soap and perfume selection is fantastic and she always comes home smelling amazing and feeling soft. There is almost never a wait unless it is Saturday mid day but even then it's a short one. If I could give 10-⭐'s I would! Thank you Happy k9 for being a phenomenal place to bring our girl. Oh and the subscription options put it over the top! ❤️

DIY dog wash! I thoroughly enjoyed the ability to bathe my German boy, even if he didn’t LOL! Plenty of space and products to choose from such as various shampoos and conditioners, if your fur baby has sensitive skin they have oat shampoo and conditioners, wash towels, gel cleanser for teeth, different styles of brushes, dog colognes, grooming spray, water sprayer with a knob to adjust the water flow pressure and dryer. $29.99 for our visit because pricing is by weight. If your pet is smaller there’s an area that can be used that’s a bit more compact and more accessible. The walk-in tubs were really convenient for me! Beats the backyard! They have treats, toys and products to buy. My German boy was more than happy to choose his squeaky toy.

I used their professional grooming service for my 3 yr old golden retriever
  PROS
  - My dog is now so soft and fluffy and smells good but not overly fragranced
  - They trimmed him without over-trimming him and now he looks a year younger 😍
  - great customer service! I was in the wrong and they helped me fix it
  CONS
  - probably because of some sort of shampoo or disinfecting agent the place smells like stale cigarettes and it was off-putting
  - you can’t see much of the operations behind doors
  - there’s no grassy space anywhere near the store and my dog’s too naive to pee on pebbles

They provide a dryer, towels, different choices of shampoo and conditioner, combs, toothbrush, toothpaste, and even doggy perfume. The staff is very friendly and super helpful! It made cleaning our dog easier and the pressure on the hose really helped with the dirty paws! 🙌🏽 Such a great place to go for a pet wash!

I take my Standard Poodle, Fitz, to Happy K9 and he LOVES it. He never wants to get into the car after! Fitz is a service companion in training so it’s really important to keep him groomed because if he can’t see, he can’t work. This team is so great with Fitz, I like him to have a teddy-bear cut (kind of a buzz all over but his curls still show, that’s the only way I know how to describe it!), they give him exactly this! We started coming here in late December and we have stayed with this team ever since! Prices are fair and the service is great!

If I could give Happy K9 more than 5 stars I absolutely would because our experience here was wonderful. We had previously had a bad experience with grooming at another business and I was super anxious taking my dog, Penny, today as I did not want her to experience that again. The second I walked in, I knew that Happy K9 was going to be perfect for her. Penny is 11 months old and super hyper, but they handled her with care and were so patient with her throughout the whole process. Penny looks absolutely beautiful, and she looked so happy when I picked her up! If you have ever had a poor experience with grooming elsewhere, I would 100% try this place! Everyone was so lovely and our groomer was so beyond professional and talented. I truly cannot express my gratitude enough!! I've never felt compelled to write a review before, but this place is just too good that everyone should know about it!!

The lady there was amazing! I don’t remember her name but she definitely took her time w/ my baby. He’s a pit so he already gets a bad rap & he isn’t fixed so he is an extremely playful 2.5 yr old 65 pound pup! PetSmart said ‘he’s aggressive’. He most certainly is not! The blow dryer is loud & the nail grind feels weird. He was scared & reacted as such but definitely not aggressive. I expressed this to the staff at Happy K9. She tried the traditional taking him to the back & putting him on a table to clip his nails but of course he wanted to play. She brought him back out & offered to just sit in the floor w/ he & I in the waiting area to get the job done. I held him while she clipped. It took probably a good 30 mins but she did not give up on my baby & was extremely patient w/ him. I could not have asked for better service! I thank you guys for servicing my baby boy & all your time & patients! We will definitely be back!

We recently moved to Texas from Chicago. I called multiple groomers in the area and no one would take any more ‘Doodles’. I did find a groomer but they wanted over $150 to groom my dog.
A referral in general conversation with a lady I met at the store led me to Happy K9. I called, they were quick to respond AND had Sunday hours. Dropped my buddy off at 9:30 and he was ready to go by 1:00. They played with him, did a wonderful job and more than fairly priced. Highly recommended and will be returning to keep ‘Gus’ looking as dapper as can be.

First I just want to say it's hard to really find a place to take you at the last minute. This place was not only AMAZING and WELCOME you like they knew you but made you feel good about calling. They were so sweet, answered all questions and made this easy. Bella is my 2yr old Schitzu and she really needed to be groomed. My sister told me about this place and since I was just visiting they got Bella in the day after I called.
Bella looked so adorable, was pampered and treated with love. These people are the BEST and I don't do REVIEWS unless you didn't do your job or something is wrong..
If you're needing a place to take your fur baby...look no further.
Just want to say thank you to the AMAZING staff for everything and experience.

A lot of places that cater to the well-being of animals, a lot of the times, treat animals clientele as another way to get money. But happy k9 is one of the most compassionate and caring grooming business I think I've ever been to. They genuinely care about my animals. They did such an awesome job on my babies. When I went to go pick them up, my dogs weren't anxious as they usually are. The care consideration these folks have when it comes to serving our furry family members, is commendable and appreciated. We tried this place last week and I could not be happier. They did a pedicure on my pup and I used the self service dog wash. The manager was wonderful and gave us lots of support and helpful tips and even had a lot of nice samples for us to try. I was most impressed with the level of staffing and the cleanliness of the whole place, especially the baths. The equipment was well maintained and clean as well. We will be back!

If you have a Great Pyrenees look no further! I’ve tried multiple places to get a good haircut for my Great Pyrenees. No one ever does very well. She always comes out looking choppy. I have FINALLY found the place. They did an amazing job!!! She looks so smooth and pretty. They were also super affordable. Other places have charged me $160 for her but at K9 I got her fully groomed, my other big dog got her nails clipped, and with tip it was only $150!! I will never take my girls anywhere else. Affordable, great haircuts, and a wonderful crew!

Very calm atmosphere for my 65lb Boxer Mix dog who gets anxious. The staff were very friendly & helpful. We have used other 'self wash' places for my large boxer mix girl and have had poor experiences. Once we walked into Happy K9 she was okay with being their. We had the staff take her in the back to trim and file her nails, which she seemed to be fine!
This place has aprons so you don't get soaked, lots of shampoos & colognes to choose from. We were also able to blow dry her on a low setting & she was so good. We even bought some dog cologne because it smells so good!! I cannot say enough good things about Happy K9. Every staff member I we spoke with or I saw speaking with other costumers, were so friendly and just KIND! It has been rough these days and to have a happy & Kind environment was refreshing. So thank you Happy K9, I recommend everyone to go and wash you dogs or check out the other services they provide. You will not be disappointed!

We are new to the area and our Bouvier des Flandres was a terrible mess. I was very nervous to take her somewhere new. Happy K-9 got her in within a week. When I dropped her off I was pleasantly surprised to see the number of large dogs they were grooming. Grooming a 90 lb bear takes a much different approach than grooming a little lap bear. Everyone was super friendly, helpful, and very reassuring. She was there for the full 4 hours, which I expected. When I picked her up she looked GREAT and I know she feels sooo much better. Her groomer was very sweet and gave her lots and lots of love. Happy K-9 made the experience every kind of positive. We will be back - without the nerves - and I will highly recommend this place to anyone!

This place is amazing! We have used them for the past year or 2, so have had multiple experiences. I feel like it’s a little pricey, but we know our boy is in good hands. He’s a 14 year old, 70lb mix breed and he does great! He always looks so amazing!! K9 always does what I ask for his cut and it’s always consistent. And one of the most important things is that he doesn’t have to wait in a kennel for a really long time. He is usually in and out within a few hours which is important to us because he’s so old. Highly recommend.
To add: Over the 8 years, we have tried multiple mobile groomers, Petsmart, and a few private local FW groomers and we have been the happiest with this place for sure.

Love the place ❤ no smells of dirty dogs. I'll be back. She will be there more often and I will try to make her feel better about a bath . She was a little scared with the dryer but she didn't cry.

I don’t know who loves this place more, me or the dog. They’re so incredibly sweet at the Camp Bowie location and this is the first place where my pooch doesn’t seem like he’s stressed from the beginning to the end about his experience.

Previously I had my dog groomed at Glamour Paws on Hulen & they completely disregarded my request of leaving my Pomeranians hair at a longer length.. Happy K9 was able to squeeze me in & did EXACTLY what I asked for!!!! I’m so happy with Remi’s hair cut, she came home very happy. The price was a little more than I expected because of an extra Scissor charge & dematting charge but she looks so cute & happy I didn’t even mind. I like how they have the groomer that’s cutting your dog come out & ask you exactly how you want them cut. I will definitely be back. Girls at the front were very nice & helpful.

This was my first ever experience at a groomer as we just recently got our puppy. The staff that greeted me was very professional and took the time to answer my questions and put me at ease. The groomer, Mike, came to meet me and discuss in detail exactly what I was looking for. He did a fabulous job on our dog. I got exactly what I was wanting. When we picked our dog up, the staff told us how everybody loved her, and she was relaxed and happy! Definitely will be back!

Great location 👌🏽 right across from the dog park in this area . It's a small place but usually not that many people are there at once which makes for good waiting time. And if you do happen to have to wait there's a great doggy snowcone joint right next door. Price was decent and employees are helpful and polite 👍🏼😀. If I had any suggestions for this place it would only really be that I think it'd be great if the dryers had temperature options instead of just cool air.

I am 2 months postpartum and have not been able to bathe, brush, trim nails etc for my dog since I hit my 2nd trimester. He’s a lab-pit mix weighing 45-50lbs and he’s very hesitant with bath time.
I finally got some time and energy to go check this place out. Definitely do not regret it! I plan to sign up for the membership next time I’m in.They did his nails and they’re perfect. I used the dog washing station and they gave me everything I needed/asked for.
Also helped me get his big butt in the tub and leashed! It wasn’t expensive either, I only paid $65! That includes the bathing station, the products, the nails, and doggie cologne and a lux treat. I appreciate y’all!
Highly recommending this place, it’s wonderful. ❤️🐕✂️

I don’t know how they do it, but the way they deshed them is magic. I have never had to worry about picking up a shaved dog from K9 dog wash. They look at the dog when you drop them off and confirm what you want done to them before you leave. Both locations are great. My dogs are stubborn and hate going to the groomer, but it’s a must when the are a big fluffy breed. I trust my dogs at either k9 dog wash location.

I've never had a bad experience here. I first would only go for the self service washing however decided to try their full grooming service and they never disappointed. I'm always scared with someone new grooming my miniature schnauzers especially if it's a different groomer everytime. But every groomer here who has worked on my babies have done a great job. My older schnauzer who is salt and pepper came back so white. She gets those red stains from licking due to allergies but they really got the stains lighter. Thank you for always taking great care of my fur kids!

SO good with all the fur babies!! They even call to check up on them. They did wonders with my boxer mix, Zuzu, that had such a bad problem shedding (family allergies required rehoming her) and were so sad for me when they found out she wasn't with me any more. They keep such good grooming records and review them with the little dogs at each visit. It's so hard to fathom the poor reviews. This has never been my experience. But then, the clues in the reviews tell a reader so much.....

This will be my fourth time taking my dog (Radar) I was at first terrified because I’ve seen horror stories of dogs getting hurt at groomers but this place definitely put me at ease. They recommended some lavender shampoo to calm him and said they will put in a quite room so he doesn’t get scared. I’ve tried to personally cut his hair and he was not having it he would try to bite me and I told him he might try to bite. When I came to pick him up the first time they said he did so great just sat there and let him cut his hair. The times I have taken him there he has came out perfect and smells so good definitely recommend this place.

I love this place! I take my dog in every week to bathe him and everyone is so friendly and helpful. Because my boy is a service dog, and I can't leave him to be groomed, I have had to learn how to do it myself. They have never hesitated to give me tips and teach me new tricks. I am thankful for the help they are always willing to give. Their whitening shampoo is the best I have used and their dryers are very good! I know that dogs don't care for them because they are loud but it is a necessity. Overall, it is a great place to go.

I did the self wash option just because I wasn't sure of the environment. Definitely trying more services next time. Oh and Sammi loved her dog treat, we will be back.

I have always washed my dog between grooming appointments at home, but after my experience at Happy K9 it is the only way to go. No appointment was required for a self wash. For $17 (21 lb dog) they provided everything including a rubber apron for me,high walk in tub, all shampoo and conditioning product, combs, brushes, dryers, and even a tooth brush. I also purchased an extra service alacarte. For $10 more they trimmed his long nails very professionally. I was glad not to risk hurting him by doing the nails myself. No mess or product expense at home either. Great idea and super clean location.

  I called 5 places before Happy K-9 on November 30th, 2019. My2 dogs had a dental
Cleaning the day before and had diarrhea from the anesthesia so they both felt dirty and stinky. When I called they did not rush me and said I could come in right away. To include they called Banfield to validate their shots and rabies! That saves me a lot of time as well. My girls smelled good and looked great! One dog 🐕 is an Africanis and the other is a poodle Bichon. They are both senior dogs and they took extra care with the poodle because she has a lot of moles and sores. I will definitely go back!☺️😁

My back isn't killing me from having to bed like I would at home and it really helps me get to all of my dog's unwanted undercoat without making a huge mess at home. I have a husky and she has a TON of hair. I can't say enough great things about this place!

Best money Ive ever spent. Took my aussie in today to get cleaned up, and we didnt make an appointment. We did the wash yourself (which is 50% off atm) for $10 and spent an extra $15 for them to trim up his feet, his legs, and do anal expression and clip his claws. It was a great experience. The washing stations have everything you need - soap, conditioner, soap for their face (that wont irritate the eyes), brushes, towels, and an awesome dryer. The ladies are so helpful if you have any questions and offer pointers. Spent $25. Ive been to several different salons and spent $100+ to get my pooch done. Of course, if you don't have the time to wash your pooch yourself (or dont want to) they offer services for that as well which are, again, still cheaper than anywhere else. They did a great job on my pooch and will definitely be back for self wash and using their full grooming packages. A++

Excellent customer service and onsite self service. Our 10, & (2) 12 years old children loved this place, it was easier for them to get the fur babies cleaned and smelling good. This place has become my new favorite grooming location, if I'm in a hurry I know the job can get done by someone there. If I want to allow my kids to have hands on with grooming, and spend some quality time together, Happy K-9 allows us to do that as well. Spending allowance was my choice: $15 for me and my kids to do the work and use all there grooming supplies (towels, water, etc.) or $30 for the service to be done completed by one of there amazing staff members.
Love everything thing about this place!

Very good prices, great customer service and convenient. I just wish they had one on the northwest side of Ft. Worth near me.

Been taking my pooch there for about a year. They always do a great job on him.

My little dog came back looking better than I have ever seen her. Kudos to the groomer. She will be back. Thanks

The staff was very friendly and informative. We did a self serve wash there and it was easy and fun. Plus, the washing station was very clean. If I weren't from out of town, I would go back!
